Does the world revolve around America?
Someone said the world revolves around the sun, but I don't believe them.
Answers:
Sorry to have to tell you this, but they are right. The earth revolves around the sun.
They think it does
not a chance
They are telling you the truth
I pretty much think sooo?
The Americans like to think so but that is just pure arrogance and ignorance
I dont know about America but in Russia, Russia revolves around the world.
according to the americans
yes
but i like to think it revolves around me
:)
They seem to think it does.
They always put themselves in the centre of world maps.
yes it pretty much does,
well, until someone else steps up to be a superpower, then we are pretty much the biggest, baddest, coolest kids on the block. were your greatest friend or your worst enemy, its up to the world to decide where they want to stand
It doesn't make a difference what you think. The fact can not be changed.
No. Not my world anyway.
The world may not revolve around America but Tony Bliar (not misspelled!) thinks it does.
Well yes..DUH! we pay everyother countries bills with OUR tax dollars!
i really hope not
of course the world revolves around america, duh!!
No. America has nothing to do with the orbital movements of the solar system.
sadly
actually, according to relativity, ANY arbitrary point can be chosen to be the center of the universe with EVERYTHING else orbiting around it. so yes, you could feasably state that the world (and the universe) revolves around a specific point in america (me, for example) and then you could mathematically prove that it is so. the only reason anyone ever went with the heliocentric theory in the first place (which we now consider debunked as well) is because the math is simpler
Yes Because it is a axis of evil. only joking
Yep!
No i would say China because of it's population - mass exports and labour market
You might think so because you are so unaware of what's going on around the world. Dude try to read some bbcnews.com if you can't travel for some reason
not that I like it, but at the moment it probably does
Some of the politcians in Washigton must think the earth revolves around America. Otherwise they wouldn't do some of the stupid things they do. But really all of the planets of the solar system, the Earth included, revolve around the Sun. Earth's orbit takes one year to complete.
Good question. Osama bin Laden thinks so. Bush thinks so.
Ah, a question like this always brings the America-haters out into the light. Of course, there is some metaphorical truth to the question.anyone who denies the influence of American culture around the world is an idiot. "Coca-cola," an American icon, is the second most widely spoken word in the world. (Number one is "okay.") Media organizations around the world often report what is happening in America, whether or not their take on it is favorable. It's not American arrogance which causes these things to happen. (Not that there isn't arrogance in America.though it pales in comparison to France). It would seem the world is fascinated with the United States. Of course, the America haters would have to learn a bit of real history to understand why this is so.but if they want to attribute it only to arrogance, that's their own arrogant prerogative.
Well the world's financial system is based on the US dollar.
Of course it does
In a sense - yes. America uses 25% of the world's resources to support its population - only 4.6% of the world. Since WWII America's energy use has quadrupled - and it's still going up - it'll always go up. America is a huge swirling whirpool - sucking everything in. If it hasn't gotten to you yet just wait awhile.
