What did they do with all the soil they dug up when constructing the Underground in London?

Answers:
this question rings a bell with me, i think it was put on barges and transported down the river and deposited at various sites around the thames estuary.
sold it!
they dumped the blinking lot on my lane!! someone better shift it pronto, I've been blocked in for years!!
up yer bum
Dug an enormous hole & buried it
Dumped it. in Loch Ness
That's the clever part, they dug a second tunnel and put the soil in there.

they shot it to the moon on a rocket
Not a scooby
Many possibilities. It could have been deposited in an existing hole somewhere (not one purposely dug for it, obviosuly), or used to make an artificial hill.
