Which type of moth squeaks or squeals?

I've heard a vocal moth a few times over the years, the ones that emit these sounds have furry heads, big round eyes and belong to a class I cant remember the name of. Anyone know? Has anyone else heard these squeaking moths?

One is the Death's-Head Hawkmoth, but I don't know if it's native to your location. From analyzing the text of your question you seem to be in the UK or Europe. That moth is often seen there.
