I should chime in. Electromagnetic technology is not anti-gravity technology. There is no anti-gravity technology yet. Many are trying, but it does not exist.

True Anti- gravity, would have you lifting of the Earth and bouncing off the Moon in seconds. I think you are referring to Maglev technology as used by the bullet train in Japan. Researchers are working on a non-tethered version with no need of a track (a bit like a hover craft but without the wind)
