Which of the three muscle tissue types is responsible for creating goose bumps?

Smooth, Skeletal, or Cardiac?
I had this questions in one of my textbooks from college, a while back, and I came across it again, but I cannot remember what it was.?
Help? thanks.

Answers:
That would be the "smooth" muscle.(It is also called the Erector pilo) This muscle is one that you have no control over, so is smooth. It makes the hair stand on end, and makes the tiny " goosebumps" all over your skin. This helps keep your body warm.

Hope my answer helped you.
smooth
arrectores pilorum is responsible for hair erection and is a smooth muscle. try this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/arrectores_.
Hope that helps
The muscle that does it is call the achi(something like that) pilli, and since you don't have control over that muscle, what would u say
Smooth would be my guess
also called the pilo erector, gives goose bumps and makes your hair stand on end
I think it's something to do with Smooth muscle & according to my Butcher, something about Fast Twat fibres?
It is definately not cardiac, anything cardiac is to do with the heart. Skeletal muscle attaches muscle to bone, so the only option it could be is smooth muscle.
