I loved st lucia it was amazing. A very poor island but a great place to see a different way of life.

Well I know that the local beer is called Piton, the rum is Bounty and you get a very passable 80 percent vol white rum from a little shop in the capital called Cox"s (bring your own empty bottle) which is very eco-friendly in my view.
Great people and a beautiful Island must get back there sometime. All the beaches are public unlike many of the Islands. Very poor so if you are visting spread your money around a bit don"t spend it all in the hotel, jump on a bus and explore or hitch a lift and see where you end up, its fairly safe and recommend a trip up into the hills.
