What elements does high carbon steel contain?
Answers:
Steel is created when iron being superheated has carbon additives (or other applicable additive for steel alloys) added into it. When you increase the percentage of its carbon or alloy additive content, the quality of steel you obtain is higher.
It will also depend on what grade of steel it is, see 2nd url below.
