Is there a 'group name' for the 2D shapes such as cirlces, ovals and crescents that are not polygons.?

Polygons have to have 3 or more sides and all those sides must be straight. Is there a name for the all the other 2D shapes?

Answers:
Conic sections include circles, ellipses, parabolas, and hyperbolas.
They are plane figures.
No, there is not a group name for the group of shapes you mention. 'Curved' of 'curvilinear' could be used but these terms are merely descriptive and do not have any precise mathematical meaning. Plain figures could be used but some would argue that the term could include the better known shapes - square, circle, triangle etc. Conic section is a precise term for some shapes but clearly excludes many others.
