Glad to see so many people doing their maths homework, does this mean that no other subjects set homework?
Answers:
it's not that. other subjects do set homework, but people are more interested in maths. they like maths than any other subject.
no I teach Politics and I set plenty of homework!
It could possibly mean that people find Maths the hardest subject at this moment in time? Unfortunately more homework is set, just some is easy, such as science research. Just copy of the net. With maths you can't really do that, therefore people ask more questions on here :D
no it just means that maths teachers set stupidly hard homework that the students cant do while other teachers are nicer and set homework to an appropriate degree of difficulty.
if you you want to be good at any
subject-DO YOUR HOMEWORK
I imagine it's easier to ask maths questions on here than other ones; also maths is so unpopular that people have a lot of sympathy for people in the situation they used to be in. Also, it's a lot harder to disguise asking maths questions; some of the questions in other sections could still be homework questions, they just don't necessarily sound so much like them.
I personally think in these cases we have a duty to give as many wildly different but plausible answers as possible. It's only when several people post the same answers that it's any use to them!
On the other hand, anyone who thinks school is about getting the answers as quickly as possible rather than learning anything probably deserves what they get.
