Contact lenses and blinking?
Am i the only one having to blink sometimes excisively when my contacts dry out? Sometimes it's embarassing as i wink on the tube even without realising it!

You need contact lense eyedrops. Be very careful if you eyes are getting excessively dry - I wore contacts for 10 years and my eyes progressively got dryer until my eyes rejected contacts altogether and I had to stop wearing them at all. The optometrist says the membrane on my eyes are rough from being too dry which I why I can't wear them now. Also don't use eyedrops that are to 'brighten' your eyes, these contain alcohol which make your eyes even dryer and contributed to my problem.
Don't wear your contacts more than 10 hours a day and always have one day a week where you don't wear them at all.
i thought you were flirting with me - darn it!
You can get a visine for contacts that re-wets them, you can use your saline cleaner if need be just to get it a little more damp, just a drop on each lense, trust me on this one I hate when my contacts dry out.
rewetting drops :) you can get a bottle at Walmart :) OR you can get different brand of contacts. I just went to my eye doctor and went through 7 different trial pairs before I found a pair I liked. Most companies will give you a trial pair for free because they want you to buy their product. So it's free until you actually purchase some .. other than the appt
get you some drops to moisten them, designed especially for contact wearers,, its easy to pop in a couple of drops, it will be in the section of the store where you get your cleaning solution ,,, also i dont know if you wear gas permenable or soft contacts, the newer solutions for the gas perm ones, that clean ,remove deposits ,soak, etc (all in one solutions) seem to work well for me,,,,, finally , make sure and carefully follow the cleaning instructions, as dirty lenses can cause irritation and blinking also,, i am bad about rushing threw the cleaning late at night or early morn
I know the feeling.
It can also be causes by medicines that you get dry eyes.
Yes, wet your lenses more with the solution.
