Why is a piece of string always shorter than its ideal length..?
somewhere i feel that boolean logic should or will have to had been involved.future causality must define the ideal even if the present definition is indeterminable??

It is all a question of measurement. If you accept that the answer to "How long is a piece of string? The answer is "Twice half its length" then by extrapolation you should eventually be able to arrive at the ideal length.
