Have you been a doctor previously? Which level of the profession did you reach?

In the UK you have to deal with Mangling Medical Careers; http://www.mmc.nhs.uk/pages/home..

As a newly qualified doctor, you would enter the Foundation program by applying through the bastard that is MTAS http://www.mtas.nhs.uk/ (which is only open until 5/12/06 for the Aug 07 start) to do F1 and F2 before entering specialist training (which they haven't sorted out properly.

As an established doctor, you would (as I understand it) have to start at the begining of one of these specialist training pathways.

However, be warned, the NHS recently ruled that non-EU doctors can only be considered for jobs if there isn't a suitable UK or EU applicant.
