"you can get awya with much more if you are polite" do you agree?
Answers:
It is possible to 'politely insult' people. It's quite funny, they get confused until what you're saying actually sinks in.
Yes
please and thank you go a long..
god yes i have never been done for speeding nice smile and politness goes along way .
you can be rude and it comes across as cheeky as well .
Yes, just watch Aiport on tv and see what happens when someone goes to the check-in desk kicking off and swearing, they get nothing and quite right too.
Wouldn't the world be a much better place is everyone was polite? For a start, driving would be much less stressfull.
I would say well spoken, gets you further though doesn't help when grannies queue jump in front of you, or get you served any quicker at the bar, though they may pick you out next time to serve earlier.
Subliminally polite = civilised/trust/queensbury rules etc
yes - one of the personal emotion trippers is flattery - being polite, but not necessarily generic will make you appear more pleasing to people.
Realistically, it depends who you are trying to getmore from (",)
Uh huh!
Absolutely. You can always catch more flies with honey than with vinegar! And a smile and a joke helps as well
I think it was FDR who said something like "speak softly and carry a big stick". I think that probably means speak softly and be armed with the law or with words if you can't get what's yours legally.
Most evryone is polite till someone wrongs them. So I believe there is always a time when you need to be, well, "more polite".
This is true to an extent, though in reality, the people who shout the loudest, generally get the most.
Absolutely, manners maketh man.so true.
yes it does get u further, but i think looks get u even further, we live in a shallow world
Are you referring to serial killers too?
Politeness helps.
The real Jedi mind trick is to act with no doubt about your actions whatsoever. Then you can pretty much do what you want, in my experience.
Most definitely. I find that being polite and courteous and smiling get me a very long way in life. The always-grumpy store clerk's face lights up when I come in. Clerks and sales-people are usually eager to help me. I get special deals at my local because I am always nice and patient with the bar-maid and pub manager. My favourite Chinese take-away always gives me free prawn crackers with my order. I can get into a store that's officially "closing" when others are turned away at the door. I generally get treated better in airports and restaurants. I can usually diffuse anger and get away with making blunders that would have most people yelling at you. Of course, it doesn't always work--there are still jerks who are determined to be sour and make interaction as negative of an experience as possible. But, when you approach with niceness, usually you get nice in return.
Absolutely! Nobody likes rude people.
kinda but then not really.look eventually someone will come along and see the deceit behimd your politefullness and your world will most definately turn to **** so heres a little advise ok. be polite because its the respectful thing to do. dont do it to get gain unless you think someone is being rude and judgemental to you. now showing true kindness to someone like this will make them think that they are being the *** and that in the end you will be the better person. just be a good honest person. dont do it for your own personal greed. trust me youll get more out of this in the end than mere material things.
Agree completely. Rudeness and arrogance are met with contempt.
yes .. thank you ..have a nice day
