What do you think? Are our ethical choices free?
Answers:
I have been watching allot of stuff on TV about ethical choices recently. In all honesty i can't even influence how my street is cleaned. That's the truth.
I thought we had erased much of the third world debt as we pressured the politicians..now I find they are in a worse position as we have cancelled pound for pound their aid. I thought that there have been changes for climate change but the government are just going to hit cars and planes but not the factories or the army.I don't think I have ANY choices.
Some are,, some can be mighty expensive.
no, I think now that ethics are predefined by the dogooders, beware if you don`t agree with them
not always and not all of them
No, we are all genetically programmed
In our personal lives, generally we have a free choice to go with our conscious. In national issues we have no choice what-so-ever. We can petition a government, to no avail, they pay no heed to the peoples`demands.
No meaningful choice is free.
When you have such a choice to make, there is always some sort of consequence, and as a result, someone somewhere down the line is going to 'pay' - in some respect.
Sash.
