Is it bad to want revenge?
Answers:
It's not wrong to want revenge. It would be wrong to get revenge. A better plan is to avenge.
Not at all but when you do something to them make sure you do a one up on them. Revenge is sweet.
It always depends on what they did. And wanting revenge is not the same as actually getting it
Course not, but make sure you don't let your emotions get in the way. Be cold hearted and have a clear goal in mind. Try watching Kill Bill to get some tips.
Give your rage a minute to cool. Revenge is best when served cold. If pos though, let it go.
revenge will eat you up inside and that is a problem, letting go is much better for all concerned. What goes around comes around. If somebody does you wrong feel sorry for them because they will have it coming back in tripple.
Having the desire is not wrong, but a natural feeling. It's carrying it out that is wrong. I always say, "I may forgive, but I don't forget."
wasted energy in my opinion
To have this feeling is natural. To actually do it is . not wise. To let go is . a step forward. To forgive is . a courageous act.
No, revenge can be a good thing.
I always feel an eye for an eye. but my fiance tells me it doesn't have to be like that lol
Just pray for them.It helps really it does!
Not at all..it is after all a human reaction...
theres nothing wrong with revenge........
Jehovah god says that revenge belongs to him alone. It's not bad to want revenge.it's bad to act on it. god will all them to account whether or not you or the person believe in that sort of thing. Sorry for you though.
its normal to want revenge, but dont go and stab them or anything like that.
just piss in their tea or **** in their sandwiches if you can get a chance without them knowing!
I actually plan revenge on people who have annoyed me and it feels better just to know that at any given time I could activate my plans but in actual fact I never do. Knowing I could is satisfying enough.
It depends. little things, let them go, there's no point in wasting your time on b/s, or risking yourself in bigger situations.
According to what you take revenge on, we can never know!?!?!
it depends on the reason you want revenge like if someone killed someone you loved then that reveng is good (i think) but if someone stole your left shoe then its not really worth it
Not at all! Get revenge and enjoy it! Pay back is a b*itch as they say.
I always want revenge when I've been wronged. Doesn't mean I do anything about it.
its not wrong to want revenge although it is wrong to do it and you usually regret it after wards(if you have a conscience)
its only a normal emotional reaction to hurt or harm.Growth comes from accepting things as they are and rising to a higher conscience using the experience to make you a better human being
Is not bad to want revenge, it actually shows you are very self aware, it could be bad achieving or act towards that revenge. You have to be more specific.
i.e. it's ok to kick your cheating boyfriend in the balls, it's not ok to castrate him .
Nothing better then sweet revenge. LOL
Seriously you can get into trouble if you try to get revenge but you let the anger get the best of you. So try to just forget about it.
It's human nature to want revenge, Shakespeare wrote that "Revenge Is A Dish Best Served Cold"...however if you do nothing, or take LEGAL rather than violent action you have proven yourself the better man.
Although not being a religious person myself, the christian value of 'forgiveness' has been shown to be far more effective at calming your emotions and allowing you to move on.
Revenge will just elevate your anger. and theirs. It's a b*#ch of a way to go through life.
If course it is not bad to want revenge.
Its bad to act on revenge----unless it is something harmless like a joke.
I want revenge on my attackers----but I won't because I know I'd end up in jail if I did.
Wanting isn't bad----doing is!
It is normal, but bad. You can't heal from it until you forgive the other person. However if the "nasty" thing was illegal go to the authorities.
Its not bad to want revenge.
Wanting revenge is understandable, but planning and carrying it out is a waste of energy and could cause things to escalate. I like to think that fate eventually teaches us the consequences of our actions, both good and bad.
