Evolutionist said survival of the fitest. why dinosours came extinct?
did meteor showers kill them while smaller animals survive the meteor, or they were not able to enter noah's arc?
Answers:
yes, i think you hit the nail on the head right there...they were not able to enter noah's ark. you see, he had just enough space for the billions of animals from the seven continents, but had neglected to build enough space for the dinosaurs. it was a slip of mind that cost them their lives. noah was a good man, but who can remember those dinosaurs? i don't blame him at all. big up noah.
Ice age. The ice was the fittest. :)
There is a lot of speculation on exactly what killed the prehistoric animals. Some say a meteorite hit the earth that caused poisonous gasses to escape, and kill everything above ground.
Others say that the ice age killed them.
I believe that dinosaurs was extinct before Noah's ark, and thus has nothing to do with the Great Flood.
Hey, god put the dinosaur fossils there to test your faith! (He's like that, god. Mad as a hatter!)
Meteors.
The smaller animals were fit to live in an environment that was unforgiving. the dinosours didnt have noah arc, it was way before
Humans came along and made friends with dogs. This allowed dogs to roam the earth. Dogs ate the dinosaur eggs. OOPS
NEVER MIND ALL THAT! USE THE SPELL CHECK BEFORE SUBMITTING
adaptability ,small animals can adapt to the environment ,but dinosaurs could not adapt ,well i mean what is a t-rex gonna do , the weight of fur etc would have pull the thing over , ! dinosaurs were only designed for one type of ecosystem and unable to adapt ,they died !!
lol Not solely the dinos died, also many other species. The meteor version is the most accepted, but some say it was a volcanic activity.
Also, there are many animals which resemble dinosaurs (birds, reptiles. etc.).
It is not that widely known that there were other, much bigger mass extinctions too, so we're pretty lucky (or saved by God, as you like).
Darwin's statement of 'survival of the fittest' did not refer to physical strength, as is commonly assumed.
He was referring to being the most suitably designed for any given environment, ie 'fit for purpose'.
It seems there were drastic environmental changes which lead to the demise of the dinosaurs but the exact cause of the changes is unknown. It could have been a large meteorite combined with other things.
Survival of the fittest is often mis-interpreted by people to mean the physically strongest things survive but if you look around you'll see this isn't what is meant. Those things that can survive by any means, ,whether they are strong or weak, as long as they are not so weak they just plain die, will survive. That is what it means.
Nothing living survives when the environment changes.
When the essential basics like food, air and water are no longer available, its not a question of survival of the fittest anymore. It is inevitable that anything living will become extinct when the environment and habitat has been destroyed, but soon after, life will adapt once again, appearing in new forms of life.
The ice age was caused by the dust being thrown up in the air after the comet (more likely that a meteorite) hit the earth larger dinosaurs anything bigger that a dog died out due to lack of sunlight and major sources of food dying out. smaller animals survived as they required less food to survive.
As for noahs arc? ITS A STORY NOT TRUE.
They were fit until the rules suddenly changed. Large animals fared poorly when a large meteor caused a major climactic shift and food became scarce.
If you're going to be a Biblical literalist, Noah followed the command of God to collect two of all creatures, so dinosaurs went extinct before or after the flood.
Wow! Great question!
There are alot of theories to lead to believing that a meteor hit Earth about 65 million years ago, causing the dinosaurs to become extinct. Alot of animals who survived lived under water and were able to survive, one like the crocodile and alligator, and some sharks and whales, whose spiecies survived this catastrophie. Alot of animals evolved as their main hunter didn't exist and they were the strongest. Some adapted to the environment they were in, like the Galapagos Islands, there are some lizards there that swim in sea water. They are the only lizards in the world to do this.
Other theories state that the climate changed, Antarctica was a continent full of life, according to the fossils they found there. The found fosilised leaves proving that there was a rain forrests there. I don't think we will know for definite.
Don't you know?
One of the dinosaurs was keeping a WMD hidden in an underground bunker until the secret leaked out and as a response all the other dinosaurs attacked with everything they had, bringing an end to the entire civilisation
This can be viewed simply. Dinos were very fit. They lived for a long time in many instances changing very little. Their fitness is based on the "rules" that they lived under. When the rules change their fitness is no longer as strong. Whatever happened changed(meteor, volcano etc) the rules and the creatures that went on were already possessing the ability to play by the new rules.
You might be good at your job but if the needs of the job change you either change with it or get fired!
Noah's ark is a story meant to give meaning to an idea. It's a great story and part of our human heritage.
noah's arc? LOL.
Ok. first off, thsat Noah's Arc never happened. the entire idea is impossible. Any rational thinking person could tell you that. OR ask ANY scientist of ANY subject.
Second, the fact that the dinosaurs died out proves they were not the fitest. It wasnt a meteor shower, it was a single meteor. The ones that survived it, "the fitest" were the mammals. smaller animals were the fitest. They didnt need 1000's of pounds of vegatation a day to survive. they didnt need constant sunlight or heat to survive either. Reptiles are ectothermic (cold-blooded), they need light and heat from a different source other thatn thier body. Mammals do not, they are endothermic (warm blooded). It is a pretty easy concept to understand.
There was no Noah's Ark. It absolutely denies common sense to speculate that 2 of every one of the billions of known species could fit into any one location. Then how would they be fed? where would the food be stored? How could they possibly ensure that they all survived with out eating each other? Gods help? Funny how that god is nowhere to be seen today in matters like this. Then, how could the the Panda magically appear in Asia, Kangaroos in Australia, etc. etc? A pastor would tell you that god made it happen (MAGIC!), because there is no factuall, scientific, rational explaination to this ridiculous story. Do yourself a favor and quit believing in fairy tales. Santa doesnt exist and neither does god.
I think the dinos lived longer than people say. It is said in very many old texts about huge creatures that sound exactly like dinosaurs. Like where do you think they got dragons from? I think they are extinct because of over killing by humans. Why do you think humans are called the greastest predators? we have reason, we could easily killed them.
they didn't have Celebrity Fit Club, You Are What You Eat or Trinny and Susannah to show them how to do it
You obviously misunderstand the term, " survival of the fittest ". I think you may have it confused, as so many others do, with the phrase, " only the strong survive ". Educate yourself; then speak.
The meteor theory does not add up. however if you look around you there are a lot of creatures that are still alive that have been around since the dinosaurs ages. Most of the surviving dinosaurs are smaller creatures . If you look at birds they look just like most dinosaurs. Most of the surviving dinosaurs where the smaller creatures. Which common sense would tell you it was probably a food problem .As creatures evolve they tend to become smaller .It was probably a slow process. Its just like they say all those craters on the moon were caused by meteors. You mean all those meteors hit the moon perfectly up and down. None of them hit at an angle
I am totally flabbergasted at the level of intelligence exhibited here. It's been commonly accepted by most in the scientific community that a meteor 6 miles wide hit the Yucatan peninsula 6 million years ago. The resulting ash cloud cover caused by this collision wiped out 90% of all the life on this planet because food became very scarce. The animals that survived were either sea creatures or small mammals buried deep in the ground. There is physical evidence that supports all this. Noah's ark? Give me a break.
