Do you believe we are living in a dream within a dream?
Sort of like the Matrix except we are all connected by a computer in some outside world. And perhaps in that dream world we again put ourselves into a computer simulation by manipulating our dreams and so on to a large number of times. Do you think this is a possibility and what are your thoughts along this line of thinking? Do you see how it is possible to achieve a sort of immortality in the outter world via this nested simulation? Let me know what you think.:)

No because a dream within a dream is the orginal dream.
Just the same way as a painting within a painting isn't a seprate painting. It's just one painting.
You can't be in a dream within a dream. Your either in a dream or not and that's all there is to it.

I agree with the first answer. if we were dreaming, it wouldn't be a dream, but a nightmare because a dream is suppose to be peaceful and full of serenity, not chaotic, that's what nightmares are for.
As long as someone is identified with her/his toughts there will be no possibility of immortality . One should realize the real being beyond toughts . Ego will always try to find a way to immortality because of sheer fear of annihilation .
There's only the American Dream - that's the only one I know where they're living & working & dreaming 24 hours a day. What YOU are asking about just isn't possible. Get real!!
