You are driving down the road, when you see some guy pushing his partner around, do you?
a) Take no notice, it is not your problem?
b) Carry on driving with the thought that someone else will probably stop?
c) Stop and ask if the lady is ok, do they need help?
d) Something else (explain)?
Answers:
a) every time,if he is the sort of twat that will push a woman around you can bet your life this isn't the first time, she has probably had this before, let them kill each other and not you, as they may if you interfere!
c), no doubt
C.) I would stop b/c if I didn't I wouldn't be able to stop thinking about what happened to her, I would feel horrible! You should always stop!
if his partner is a woman i call the police as i stop to help her. if his partner is a man then he's on his own. another man would have an equality that a woman would not have so i would feel the need to level the playing field
do nothing trust me i learned the hard way . i was in a bar seen a guy hit a woman right in the face . i put him into the wall then the woman he hit busted me in the eye .
video it on mobile and put on google vid!
Ring the police and let them deal with it,my husband helped a woman once and she hit him over the head with her stiletto heel.
c) stop and ask.
Better safe than sorry. But I have encountered this situation several times in my life, and EVERY time I did, the woman would tell me to mind my own f----n business.
C. How do you know they are parners? Maybe he's just a crazy molester.
d) i would alert the police, i wouldnt get involved myself for fear of my own safety (does that me a weak individual?).
Maybe i would honk my horn though to divert the anger to me and off the lady?
d and then hang about to see how it go and then step in if need be
I would call the police. Getting directly involved might lead to MORE violence and that is not wise. On the other hand you do not know how dangerous the guy is and if he is posessing any weapons.
i'd keep right on going. not my business and it is good that i did not see this today or any other day. I saw nothing and know nothing of it.
I would do d) something else - I would call 911
Even though i am a woman i would stop the car, hopefully their would be a place to pull-over and i would confront the person. I would make sure that i phone the cops first and tell them what is going on just in case the chap decides to start slapping me around as well. Mind you i wear very sharp-toed boots.
If it iis a physical assault cal the police. It would not be a good idea to get in the middle of domestic violence without help. It could be dangerous for you.
I would watch the exchange to see whether or not they are just shoving each other a little bit (like some couples do) if it stops and they begin to work it out I would keep driving
If the male is actually beating the woman and she is defenseless (meaning it isn't an exchange of annoyed yet light non harmful blows being thrown by the both of them)
I would stop the car call 911 on my cell phone then attempt to intervene being cautious as to whether he has a weapon or not while attempting to remove her from the abuse.
i wouldve said 'c'.
but..
after reading the comments before everyone else..i'd say..carry on..( only for the fact i could get injured )
a) take no notice - its not my problem and for all I know the lady may deserve it.
But the police should be informed.
c
with out a doubt and ask her if she is okay
depends on the aggresiveness of the situation, me and my partner are allways pushing each other around becasue were both high grades in martial arts!!
but if it was serious then id drive by again, beep my horn loudly, this would startle the attacker giving the victim time to run away then i would call the police and tell them of the incident

First, it's interesting to note that you use the gender neutral term "partner" in the question, and only later in the answer clarify that this gentleman is with a woman and not another man.
Either way, I'd PROBABLY keep driving (depending on how bad he's getting) and call the police. I'd try not to get physically involved unless said partner was in serious trouble.

d) i would call the police if i thought she was in danger , being a lady myself i wouldnt put myself at risk by approaching him , but i would seek help .
Well, i would carry on and take no notice. Ive tried helping someone before and they pressed charges against me for something i didn't do.
