i'm not scared of spiders but daddy long legs scare me and other flying insecty things like moths and flying ants.
i also have a fear of clowns which started when i went to the circus for the first time aged 4 - i screamed so much i had to be taken home! I cant explain it, they just freak me out!
yes i am scared of spiders, but not other bugs. Just Spiders.

snakes and worms.spiders do not bother me in the least

Not much scares me when it comes to animals. I love reptiles, have several as pets including geckos, a snake, two tortoises, have had insects as pets, including Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, and silkworms.Have birds, poison dart frogs.
I'd be most afraid two feet away from a salt water crocodile without Steve Irwin standing nearby.
Worms. Someone whipped one around my neck when I was five. It was a twelve inch earth worm. I'll never forget.

Spiders are fine I hate things that flutter around. Butterflys are the worst.....
I am OK with spiders as long they aren't on me. I absolutely hate rats and sometimes have lucid dreams about them jumping in my face, although not very often, thankfully.
If it is a Black Widow I kill it, if it is anthing else, I try to put it outside.
Only thing I am afraid of is dying alone. Not afraid of death anymore, but I don't want to spend forever alone. I believe you find your soul-mate to move on with. The thought of going it alone forever is quite scary for me.

I'm afraid of driving. i wake up at from nightmares in cold sweats because i have nightmares of driving a car then losing control, killing people. But spiders dont scare me at all.
yes, spiders. the speed is one thing, the fact that they can rappel down from anywhere is another.

Spiders haven't got **** on stickers. Sweet Jesus, stickers are my fear. The paper ones that go all curly at the edge. Plastic ones are alright. Argh, the little gold paper ones with black print on them, the ones people put their addresses on. blurgh.

No. Spiders don't bother me. I can honestly say that nothing scares me, however, I tend to freak if a cockroach gets on me. I don't know how some people can live with the disgusting things.
On second thought, I recently took a personality test which said I want no part of confining commitments. I guess I do fear something.

Bats. I took my daughter to Chester Zoo a couple of years ago, whilst there she insisted on going into the Bat house an I didn't want her to know that her daddy was scared of what are essentially winged rats. Obviously it was dark inside and the zoo keepers had done a good job in producing an environment that would keep them happy bats. Running diagonally across the house was what looked like a long washing line with the biggest bat I have ever seen hanging from it, it was like a large cat hanging upside down. I got so frightened that I squeezed my daughters' hand so hard that she started crying, I almost sprinted out of that place, knocking school kids flying in my attempts to get out.

I am terribly afraid of spiders. I get dizzy and start to breathe real heavy and want to just puke when I have to deal with them.
However, when I brought my daughter home from the hospital, I placed her in her basinet and just as I set her down a spider ran out from under her little mattress pad.
Without hesitation, not even a single thought, I reached up and smashed the thing with my bare hands.
Amazing how empowered a mother can be.
