Do animals talk to one another, and to people?
I've seen it on T.V. I watched this programme the Lion King and the animals were talking like me and you. There was also this other programme about a boy made of wood. He had friends from the animal kingdom too. There was a fox, a cricket, and cats. There was a scary bit when these kids turned in to donkeys on this island. I see animals talking on T.V but never on the street or out in the countryside. Im confused! Please help!

Of course animals communicate, but not in the humanised Disney manner. If they couldn't communicate then they'd never mate or raise their young.
they talk, but only they understand. But their language should be simply enough, like angry, get away, it is mine. It is like the next step of body lanugage.
yes they do.recent research says that they identify the little one with the unique sound to which the little ones respond

they don't have a verbal language , but do have a sign /body language
I have lots of chats with my cats, they use blinks, head waving, tail position and body shape, once you forget about words you can talk to them for ages. They are very understanding about my lack of tail.
It is a fantasy thing. We would all love for our pets to be able to speak to us.That's why we all love Bambi and Lion King and Pinnochio. Do not know any other way to answer this question.
Yes they do, thats why birds sing and dogs bark, maybe its not talking about what they did on the weekend, but its communication, expressing emotions and wishes. My dog emits a different bark when its hungry than when it wants to go outside.
