What is the best general intro to NLP book?
I am particularly interested in issues to do with self discipline, procrastination, lack of motivation, depression etc

I don't know which book you are referring to, but Amazon have a range of NLP books and some of these, I think would be useful for as an introduction::
"Teach Yourself Nlp (Teach Yourself - General S.)" by Steve Bavister and Amanda Vickers (Paperback - 30 April 2004) - sounds lie it might be a good introduction

I work as a clinical hypnotherpaist and NLP practitioner. I started with a book along time ago that set me on this path.
I read Awaken the Giant Within by Anthony Robbins, it is an NLP book packaged as somehting else and it may be great for procrastination and teh otehr issues you alluded to.
If you want to get into NLP check outBooks by Bandler, Dilts, Tad James, John Griinder. But use T Robbins as a starting point as it is written like a therapy session for your issues.
