Why do we have to evolve from monkeys?
I mean have you noticed how many of us acts like one? Why can't we evolve from something more respectable, like lions or tigers or something like that?

My suspicion is - especially after reading some of these questions - that monkeys evolved from us. Because monkeys could never be that stupid.
We didn't really have a choice in it; it just happened. It's not like we keep monkeys in a cage, reading to them from Dr. Seuss until they turn into humans. For one, they're not in cages. For another, we prefer to call them "babies".

Depends on your belief. If you believe the evolutionists, then we came from monkeys because of our closests similarities to them. If you're a creationist then we were created unique.
Can't say if "evolving" from another creature would be advantages or not. Regardless how we became, we're going to have some kind of suffering. Maybe dinosaurs would have been cool.

The other evolution involves ones Soul, and in this process of evolution all human beings have indeed evolved from lower forms of life. and may, depending upon how one lives ones life, transmigrate to some lower form.
