I can only speak for the Brazilians and I say WE LOVE ITALY!!
Of course we don't love Italians a lot during World Cups and all but, still, when soccer is not involved, great country, great people, fantastic food. What's not to like about Italia?!

To Italy I say (in my poor Italian): Te voglio tanto bene il mio tesoro!
Nice food!
Good Food, Good Country, Good People !.
My Gran is Italian (was Italian) does that mean I'm quarter Italian?
a nice country. Bologna is a wonderful place in Italy and some have gone to describe it as beautiful. i have always heard good things about the country.

i would like to thank them for the Bolognese.. exquisite
nice and warm. friendly people. different counrtyside to us. brown colours. grass is more, brownish. beautiful country
I dont really tend to think about italy. when i hear the word Italy i immediatley think of pizza and pasta and rome!
good taste in food
Mafia, football cheats.
probably the second best country in the world best food best scenery and the best looking women until you marry one the they look like the mothers (only joking)
i would love to go there..italy is my top place to go to.. i've known a few italian people and theyve always come across so nice and pleasant. my boss is italian and i'm always asking her for recipes.mama mia!
Whenever I think of Italy I think of food. I love Italian food! I also think of their football team. I don't have anything against Italian people, but I like the accent.
I've only been to Italy once and that was on a day trip from Austria. The country we saw was beautiful, the food very tasty and the people friendly.

Thank you.
I know for a fact that the English think the Italians are a bunch of lazy smelly buffoons.
I served with a bunch of Brits and it was common for them to say, "as smelly and lazy as a greasy Italian"
I wouldn't go to Italy if you gave it to me. The food is good, but I can get that here in the US. The people over there are just waiting for stupid americans to go there so they can take what they can from them.
Italians are good people. did i win a free pizza?
I am not English but I am American.

I am fancinated by the history of Italy. Specifically ancient Rome.

I love Italian food. While I am not of Italian decent I do have Italian relatives by marriage.

My dream vacation some day would to tour all of Italy and visit all the ancient sites and wonders it offers.

Buona fortuna!
Italy is a wonderful country. Milan like most major city is not as friendly as some of the small towns. My best friends of 30 years are Italian and I could not have had better ones.
I have only visited the Dolomites area in winter and that was many years ago, but I thought it was a beautiful place. Italian food is great too :-)
Le ragazze italiane sono belle
I absolutely loved Milan and Lake Garda was beautiful. I was also in Cervinia for 6 months working and skiing. Food is great and people are friendly.
I love them! I am married to a Sicilian from Provinicia di Catania and we have two children.
I think Italy is ..well, 'very Italian.'

My only experience of being in Italy has been of Florence and that region where we met family and friends of a girl who had been a student here in England and had stayed with us.

We were treated warmly and accepted as 'Amico' and they were lovely to us.

Italians are much like everyone else as national groups and as individuals. There are warm, pleasant people, there are those who are not so warm and not so helpful or 'irritated' people.

My experience has been very good ~ and I will add, that I never felt in any way in any kind of danger there either.

Sash.
Got lovely food and the architecture in many of the cities is absolutely fantastic. And your a passionate bunch, it's all good.
never been but would love to i like pasta and pizza and have heard you country is lovely
the only good thing about italy is the pizza. You were cowards in the second world war, switching sides when you realised germany was losing and your football players are always diving
I can't tell you what most English people think about Italy, but I think, good food, red wine, great opera, very catholic, the mafia, the pope, ferrari cars, ancient buildings to see in Rome, beautiful artwork to see in Florence, romantic gondolas to ride in Venice. I used to work with an Italian guy and he was really nice, always really helpful. What do Italians think of the English?
Pizza, pasta, and olive oil. Men are skirt chasers, and women love to cook. And both have extramarital affairs because they can't get divorces. Slick design in furniture and some cars, and generally laid back. Unfortunately, not thought of as great warriors due to rapid and numerous surrenders during WWII.

Some lack of respect due to the open tolerance of the Mafia and their open killing of justices.

Some respect and envy of the Italians for their foods and enthusiasm regarding family and eating.

Peace
I have never been, so i think about all the old stuff you see pictures of and sculptures, also pizza and pasta
I think your like any other people. There isn't anything special about Italy or Italians. They have crappy food and some jerks just like every other race. They also have some good food and some good people like every other race.
A lot better than we think about the French! For one thing, you do not keep sending us all those pseudo intellectuals. Such as Foucault, Derrida, Lacan and Irigrary. Thank you!
