How is this so offensive that somebody feels really insulted?

Question: what is the best combination of wargear to use for a necron lord?

Details of Violation: Sounds, by your question, like: an anorak, a lunchbox, a flask, thick glasses and flared trousers.

Reason of Violation:Insulting Other Participants :

Copied from a previous answer I gave. If somebody gets hurt by an answer like that, I dread to think how he/she's going to cope with real life. I normally find that the thicker somebody is, the more likely they are to a) be offended and b) inflict physical violence on you. And b) is what I find offensive - physically and socially.

Answers:
i can't be insulted if i have absolutely no idea what you are talking about
lol that is bad!
I've never heard of a necron Lord, sorry can't help.
Yikes.
Somehow I think some people on here report others so their answer is more likely to win the 10 points. I have been reported for very innocent and straight answers. I think Yahoo should check the answers that are being reported before they delete them.
I had a violation a few days ago because it caused offence I only gave my point of view to the asked question it didn’t even have a swearword in it I was just to the point and she (had to be a woman) took offence, I replied to the violation and told them she was being petty.
no
Bloody Hell !
Enough of this madness yahoo.
until we rise up and overthrow the communist led yahoo we will all keep getting violation against us for what seems to us reasonable answers...i suppose i lose another ten now
You are now a member of the violated club. Some people are very offensive on here and get away with it, and innocent ones like yourself get the violation. Lets all rebel and stand united
Many of the things that they consider a violation are ludicrous and the ones I see all the time without fault are often times disgusting. It's not fair.
they must actualy dress that way, and felt you were making fun of them, who knows,, cant see anything insulting about it. I think some people report for no reason at all. just to cause problems.
Why do people get offended by our opinions on things? That's kind of stupid, really stupid. I'm sorry, but if anyone ever gets offended by my opinions, how are they going to survive out in the real world where everything gets criticized? They'll get a nice slap in the face, and they'll learn that getting someone in trouble because they were offended is not just a click away!
Well I have no idea what a Necron Lord is therefore I cannot say what wargear he should wear.but to be offended by the question is a bit of a puzzler. Some people really shouldn't be let loose in society, let alone given the use of a computer and a whole world full of options! lol
I hope Yahoo overturn the Violation.

I have had 1 violation.it was a daft question (Where is Roo's dad in the Pooh stories), I said he had hopped off with the floosie round the corner (PLEASE DONT REPORT ME AGAIN!!!) and got reported for "Adult Content".Sheesh, some people need a life if they consider that adult!
what r u talking about here?!?!?!
How dare you !

"Sounds, by your question, like: an anorak, a lunchbox, a flask, thick glasses and flared trousers."

That's me being normal ! ;-)

**I am kidding.
Perhaps though the complainant was like that and took it personally.
I agree with you, some people need a humour transplant.

The consolation is that you WILL offend SOMEONE - no matter what you say, or don't say - so just ignore the notification.
it's a bit funny even. seems harmless i don't know how people get away with racist remarks made. funny creatures we are.
don't worry about the small stuff, proceede and gird your loins for the coming battle
RAAAAAWWWWWRRRRR!!
The person who wrote the question was probley wearing that & got p*ssed off!!

I think someones comment on here about whinnie the pooh is halarious!!that sounds like something I would say. But it was probley some grown person who's still obbsessed with disney charahters who asked, & they got mad because you were talking sh*t about thier little pooh bear or whatever. I know a few people like that.
Uncle Sid I agree with you !
Oh my 'one much greater than myself' (didn't want to cause offence to any one!!) Sounds like someone has had a sense of humour bypass or has been taking too many 'I take myself very seriously' pills.
Come on Yahoo. don't wimp out. Help turn the tide on a world addicted to pussyfooting around with PC and 'nannying' every thing we do!
thats a bit daft. some 1 on here came v close to calling me a bad mother which i strongly objected to and thought was v v out of order especailly considering we dont know each other personnaly..and i never once thought to report him coz at end of the day if it offends me THAT much i just turn my pc off, i have free will too, free will to leave this forum.

that really is silly and a waste of time to report people so something so silly
I would say that anyone who is insulted by an answer like that is lacking a sense of Humour! Even 'intelligent' people can be lacking in that!
Some answers are filled with swear words which I find offensive but as young people sadly use this language normally I tend to ignore it!
If the answer is a good one I dont care how its said or who says it and if its silly and You get some silly answers to any question I ignore it or laugh about it as most people would.
I find your answer silly rather than insulting. So A Violation NO!
