If I had 24 hour left on this Earth, what would I do?
Well, the first thing I would do is pack. Obviously the aliens from planet Zardroffski have chosen me to be the lucky passenger for a galactic pleasure cruise.
Now I know, by the time I get back everyone will be dead, unless of course the Zardoffskians have figured out a way for bypassing Einsteins laws, which is of course quite possible since they got here in the first place. So the second thing I do is say goodbye to all my friends and family (except for my lawyer) and tell them all about the incredible trip I am going on and how they are stuck on this provincial planet.
The third thing I do is sneaky. I take all my money and pocket change too and go to a well established bank, one that may be around for a few more centuries. I open an account with said money with special instruction that it is to be claimed only by me or someone with the password: Simonfunkelstein. There is no way I can forget that. By the time I get back I will be rich beyond imagination!
The forth thing I do is get a big plate of Prime Rib and Bonyacotta. After all I do not expect them to have Earth food on the trip, so I might as well get the best before I leave.
Finally, I get my bags, and go to the top of the hill they told me to meet them at. Pull up a blade of grass and put it in my mouth to crew then sit down and relax with my back to my baggage and wait.

2. Call everyone I love (including UK) and tell them how special they are to me and thanking them for being there for me when I needed them.

5. Hold on to my kids while lying on my husband's lap talking about the "good ole'days" until I close my eyes while my five year old plays with my hair.
Get in touch with as many of the people that I really LOVE as possible, even if i haven't seen them for ages, or talked to them. And then talk to my husband and boys for the rest of the time praying for the people i will be leaving behind and telling husband and boys how much i love them. And say sorry for any mistakes I've made lol which i already do after a while.
JOE by the way i don't think the people you are calling selfish are necessarily. Because they may not have anyone they Love or loves them, Or they may be emotionally young. I think you're being unfair to them. I don't want the category's to be righteous and self righteous.

I dont really feel its a selfish and unselfish category, I think your life is for living, and as such, if you only have 24 hours left to live, you've gotta make the most of it. Hopefully family/friends will know how much you love them. I'm sad like that, I make people know on a regular basis, I'm sure it makes them really mad! I'd phone up everyone I love, tell them I love them, and then go on a huge spree of self indulgance. I also believe in reincarnation, that all the people I love, and that love me, come back in some form or another, and we all connect on different levels..I dont think anyone you love is ever really lost to you.I will go now and stop this philosophical rant, sorry!
