are you 13?
Almost getting kicked outta college because I went inside a boy's dorm. my mother would have killed me!
I was in 7th grade and my mother was driving me to a school event in the evening when it was dark. Ahead was a railroad crossing. Apparently the lights and gate were not working. We weren't driving fast (she slowed down because the tracks were rough and she didn't want to ruin the tires on the car). All of a sudden, a train came out of nowhere and almost hit us as we were crossing. We were literally within seconds of getting creamed by a huge train! When the train's light shone into the car and the whistle blew (on my side of the car), I almost passed out, I was so scared. My mom hit the gas and we got out of the way just in time, and then we parked the car and sat there bawling for about 15 minutes, we were so shaken up. We didn't even see or hear the train coming. It was dark outside and the signal failed. To this day, I always look before proceeding into a railroad crossing. You never know.
Bit late for you to be up me thinks - 2 points!
I have two frightening experiences in my lifetime. I was almost raped at the age of 16 and managed to fight him off and I was at the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. the day two security guards were killed. I may not have been in the building yet, but it was frightening nonetheless.

One long overtime day, the first day before beginning a long (4 days) holiday. My friend Manny and while exiting at the end of the working day myself were stuck between security partitions designed to keep outsiders from enterring our working area. The partitions were about 4ft.x 4ft x8ft. in total area with no ventilation, emergency phones or any way to reach outside help, and of course bullet proof.our voices echoed in horror. Since I was a freelancer I was not issued a key to get out. And good old Manny had of course left his in his desk. We were absolutely the last persons there, lights out and all. I being a type two Diabetic needed to eat, drink and get my medicine within the next 4hrs. or so. Manny with a bad heart needed his pills every 6 to 8hrs. Well I had my faith to keep me cool, and it was being put to the test. Manny was less cool about it, he said he felt a heart attack comming. about twenty minutes later.and a long prayer. I told Manny.half kidding that he would have to get a heart attack first so that I could live those next 4 days of his remains. I promised Manny a nice plaque or something placed in this "partition" so every one would remember him. Manny thought I was serious and threathen to stab me first with his pen. I backed up.about 2 centimeters, and reminded him I was only kidding.or was I ?
Thank God about 10 minutes after that a lady who had forgotten her umbrella ( it was not raining that day ) came about 40 feet from us in the dark and heard our agonizing screams. We both kissed the lady and offerred to pay her cab back home, she declined our generous offer. Manny did not speak to me for a week, I soon lost all interest in cannibalism. And Manny and I remained good friends until his recent demise two years ago.the topic of discussion at the funeral was of course the day Manny and me were going to kill and eat each other.
NEVER EXPERIENCED..WHEN I HAVE ONE I'LL LET YA KNOW.
I was 17 and in a pub with an ex girlfriend (I'm 36 now).

At the bar a guy pushed in and , not seeing him straight away, I turned around saying 'Oi !'.

He must have been 9 feet tall and built like a house.

I siht myself but stood my ground.

The bar maid served me whilst he had his hand round my neck threatening to kill me.

I made it back to my chair and was jelly for about a week.

Fcuk me he siht me up!
This happened in Colwyn Bay, Nth Wales. I went with my brother-in-law late one evening when it was dark, to the beach to dig for lug worms for his next fishing expedition with his colleague.

It was quite 'foggy' out there along the beach, though not too bad, but heavier out there, in the water which was at low tide.

On the beach were a couple of other fishermen who were digging for lugworms and who had hurricane lamps set on buckets turned upside down on the beech near the waters edge, maybe 100 yards apart.

I left my brother-in-law and went into the sea with waders and a 'large' shrimping nett which I pushed ahead of me as I walked thigh deep in water, parallel to the shore.

I'd not done this before, so I was concentrating on what I was doing whilst also concentrating on staying within certain boundaries - of beach and their lamps which were to my left.

I did this once, turned around and retraced my steps until I was approx at the place where I began, then turned about and began once more.

Having gotten used to this, I loosened up on my concentration and had been moving (the beach on my left) when I became aware of something VERY, VERY LARGE on my right that was moving! And when I turned and looked, for a moment, maybe a heartbeat, it scared the Bejjazus out of me. At the start of the next heart beat I realised that what I'd seen out there was my own shadow which had been thrown up by the the low angles of the two hurricane lamps, onto the fog-bank.

My guess was my shadow was about 100 feet in hight out there.

Oh yes, my shrimp nett was empty, by the way.

Sash..
