The meaning of my dream about my dead dad.?
Last night i had a dream about my dad. He died last november but the dream was extremely real.
He was telling me that he is doing things that he wished he done when he was younger. He gave me a hug and told me things about my life and advice. After that there was a bright white light afterwards. The dream was longer than that but it would take to long to write it all down.
I also saw him in the dream come into my bedroom and say you two make a lovely couple, he was on about me and my fiance.
It was so realistic, and i woke up wondering where he was, it took me about 5 minutes to work out he was already dead.
Ive never experienced this before, anyone know what this means, its was wierd!

My dad passed away 25 years ago. Like yours, my dreams were so vivid that it seemed as if he were still alive.
I still have dreams about my dad. In my dreams, I KNOW he is dead and no matter what the dream was about, he always had to leave me. I would beg and cry for him to stay, but he never does. He always had to remind me that I KNEW he couldn't stay because he is dead. In each dream, he would tell me that he would be back again.
My dad visits me in my dreams when something is bothering me. He helps me resolve the problem in my dreams, and when he has helped comfort me in my dreams, that is when he leaves.
I know this may sound strange, but I truly think that you're dad actually did VISIT you through your dreams. He was trying to let you know he is still looking out for you, still caring for you, even though he is not there physically. And, like my dad, perhaps he knows that there is something that is bothering you and he appeared in your dreams to give you advice. I think that he misses you and wishes that he could still be a part of your life.
I cherish my dreams/my dad visiting me, even though he always has to leave. Spending that bit of time with my dad is better than nothing at all.

I have dreamed of my dead Grandfather - we were very close whilst he was alive. I truly believe that he had come back to give me a message and comfort me. It was very real and like him to do something like that.
I ithink this was a 'true' experience that happened whilst you were in a dream-state and that state 'allowed' your Father to contact you.
