What can I do or achieve before my 5-0 birthday next year?

Sensible suggestions only please, with just a little fun on the side - something you might choose for your own personal development perhaps. I got my degree in time for my 40th but have since mislaid my sense of direction, and now have no money either. How can I best mark the passing of a decade?

GO TO SEATTLE!! Watch a Mariners game in the summer. hear the trains going by just to the East of Safeco Field, the Ferries horns going off to the West and the BRILLIANT smell of the Puget Sound all around. do the same for a Seahawks game in the Fall. OR. go to both in early/mid-September. after the games (or before depending on when the game is I guess) you can also go to the TOP of the Space Needle. it's PERFECT up there. aside from the Space Needle there's the Pike Place Market on the Waterfront and like I said earlier there's the Ferries where you can walk on top during the ride and see seals and other marine animals during the ride. it's AWESOME. before you do that though you can also see the Museum of Flight just South of Seattle's downtown area. it's really COOL too.

Nude tandem skydive.
Personally I would do a skydive, but if that isn't you then why not learn to fly a small plane, go in an air balloon, drive a rally car or something like that.
Attempt a self-portrait.

Well, I wrote a letter to a dear friend telling her that I was approaching 6O soon, and I still had not been sky diving, bungee jumping, joined the mile high club...the list went on and on and on!!

It shook me, it stopped being a letter, and became a list for me!

However, on reflection, I then started a list of what I had achieved, and was very honest, giving birth, caring and loving a child or children for 2O odd years it not to be sneezed at!

I suggest you do the same, write two lists, its a real learning curve I can tell you!

There is NOTHING to it, its the big 6O that's the B***h!!

Good luck, and have a wonderful 4Oth!
