Feminist for women, what is the equivalent for men?
Men who believe in the rights of men.
Answers:
Men who believed in the rights of men were known as Radical or Chartists. Prior to that there had been Levellers (at the time of the English Civil War).
It depends whether you see feminism as assertive or reactionary. If it is reactionary, then it exists in reaction to male oppression. There have been a few cultures with explicitly female domination (the semi-legendary Amazons are believed to have a been a Scythian culture for instance) - sorry I don't know what names were given to the men in those cultures who sought freedom - probably 'dead'.
If you view feminism as assertive, then any movement which has asserted general male rights (regardless of who was doing the oppression) would be an appropriate equivalent. So 'Liberationists' would be an umbrella term for all the people who sought equality from religious repression and again, these would be mostly men.
The whole world revolves around the rights of men. Originally only men counted. So there is still a lot of residual men stuff and women are fighting for a break.
Rights of men to do what? Assert their equality? Been done. Look it up
Sexist.
HIS-story
As a feminist is one who advocates women’s rights on the grounds of sexual equality (with males), then naturally, there is no male equivalent. Moreover, it is quite possible for a male to be a "feminist".
traditionally were known as "sexist pig ba****ds" but i prefer the term masculinist (?). is this even a word lol!
penisist.

chauvinist. chauvinism excessive devotion to a belief esp a man's belief in the superiority of men over women.
There is no such thing men think they are the best and therefore don't need a movement. Chauvinist Pig is the best I can come up with.

well men have no rights anymore everything is so weighted against them, take fathers for justice for instance they get shouted down by womens groups all the time just for wanting to see their kids after a divorce, when of course because there men it must be there fault they are divorced. The woman has of course done nothing wrong cos they are all saints.. And if we did start a group for mens rights we would be harrased out of the country for been mcp,s
