Develope a positive out look on life and ignore gossip and the negative things in life! Contentment, peace and happiness will be yours!
Be the best person that you can. Be yourself and not what others want you to be. You can't please everyone, so please yourself. Do not set yourself targets that you cannot achieve to avoid disappointment. Work to the best of your ability; the world owes you nothing so you have to work to achieve success. Spend your money wisely; neither lend nor borrow money and stay well within your means. Save as much as you can afford and try to avoid using your savings for everyday items. Have another account for that. Be happy and content with your lot. Envying others will make you feel that your own life is less than what you want it to be.
Love yourself first, and let yourself be loved. Money can by you material things but lets just say that it is pretty lonely at the top. All the money, all the houses/boats/ cars and no one to tell you how they love you and for you to argue with - if you like the sound of it - then love yourself and don't bother with others - you will be too busy making money to care

love and respect yourself, and live in harmony with nature. nature is god's gift to man. adam and eve were in the garden surrounded by god's work. god put them there because he knew that all there needs would be catered for. learn from nature and follow its ways and you will get get all your desires of this world satiated. mind you, you are part of nature so don't fight it as in doing so, you will be fighting against yourself.
A beggar had been sitting by the side of the road for over thirty years.
