Do you believe in fate? if so have you ever tested fate?

i would just like to know peoples storys if they have ever tested fate and the outcome of it

Answers:
Yes - I have been waiting for years to respond to this question.
How do you test fate? You have to know the eventual outcome of a situation, change paramaters, and record the results. You present a classic paradox that cannot be answered.
NO. i detemine my OWN future, although time and unforseen occurences befall us all.(Ecc 9:11)
No i dont believe in fate..

cause I'm not going out with Lindsay Lohan.. when I go out with lindsay lohan then yes i believe in fate.

shes so fine.. ive got 2 make her mine..
I believe that the really big events in life are fate, the others are the choices you make. I don't think there is a way to test fate but if you have one I would like to hear it.
I'm not sure you can test fate. It is fate after all.
yes i believe in fate :-) not sure how you'd test it thou?
Yes. I tested fate . I told my girlfriend she was fat!
I havent tested fate but fate had tested me
I never thought that i will go to a medical proffession.
even after my 12th i thought maximum i may end up as an engineer but fate has decided that i will go only for a medical profession. You will end up where ur fate decides.
Doesnt mean that u have to leave up everything for fate but still to some extent
no i dont something happen to me that makes me question every thing losing something so special and close to me wasnt fate she never lived a day so no i dont
You can't "test Fate". Fate does it's own thing, surely? Fate by it's very nature is it's own master and will not be tested. I don't believe in it anymore. People make things happen. Even if you don't think you've affected the outcome something, subconcsiously you probably have.
Yes I do believe in fate..although you can change the outcome. We can all be in a certain place at a particular time and meet someone who can affect the rest of your life..ie future hubby or wife, job prospect etc., if you were not there at 'that' time you would miss the chance to accept fate or change it.I suppose some would call it coincidence. However, I am sure you cannot test fate it just happens..after that the choice is yours!
I believe in fate because my religion said so. However we should never test our fate because fate had been determined by god. In addition fate is divided into 2 that is fixed fate and interchangeable fate. You can change fate by putting an effort to it. If you have problems, don't blame on fate, blame on yourself because fate had been determined due to your attitude and deeds. Sorry if I have hurt anyone's feelings.
I just took for granted that I would have one kind of life. I was forced to quit that life. For the first time, I really don't have a set of expectations. I am patiently waiting to see what will manifest.
So, in a way, I tested fate. It is unclear whether I subverted a plan or it subverted me.
sometimes i think i control my life, but then like a bolt out of the blue a strange co-incidence happens that just blast my 'control' out of the water.

I do believe in fate, but no matter how hard i try to buck the trend or the inevitable i always end up there! I don't know if it's a physchological thing or i'm just a pawn in someone else's game of life, in the end i believe that desire and destiny are the same thing and so the only advice i can give you is just make your peace witht the universe and move on- God knows i have.
By testing fate you mean like the time my friend drove his Geo up under the rear wheals of an on coming semi and we both lived to get out shake the glass out of our hair and laugh about it? The time I played army for 4 years and got to come home when so many of my friends didn't? I guess I do believe in fate but I sure don't understand it. Sometimes I think I test fate every time I drive to work.
Yes i believe in fate. Its a scary question for some but that needs to be sorted. One must remember that God gave us free will, so yes fate does happen. Things and circumstances will put you there BUT it is up to you (your free will) to decide what to do with the circumstance you've been given.
In traditional chinese culture, there is always a saying about a person's life: " first is fate, then comes luck, finally is feng shui ".
that means how much you can achieve in your life is already set, (e.g. i can never win 1st place in the 100m olympics) and then it depends on the luck to support your fate. and finally you can use feng shui to work out/help change your fate to a certain extent ,but not alter it. (This is a completely different topic, i know, but a few chinese millitary strategist have relied on this artform to win symbolic battles throughout its history.)

The current official fengshui advisor for the chinese government stated that, " fengshui is neither science nor superstition, it is a culture. "

He was once invited to Beijing by local skeptic officials to tell the fate of two deceased generals in the 20th century (without revealing to him their names). he was taken to both of their resident houses and was only given their date of birth as information. he took measurements of some areas inside each of their house that was of significance in fengshui and accurately predicted both of their fate. One of them in short was "sickness:: blood disaster:: blackstar". This general suffered from chronic asthma, and died from a plane accident, that was actually ordered by chairman Mao for compensating for his inability to protect Mao's son's life during a past mission (thus "sickness, blood disaster, blackstar"). The second person's fate in short was "bright star and smooth career". This general really led a smooth career and was promoted to the highest ranking in the country. Both of these general's fates matched that analysed and described by the fengshui advisor.

There is a whole area of study in chinese culture that is devoted to the subject of "fate" and "luck", that is accumulated from thousands of years of trial-and-error and observations from different areas of studies. I am not sure if you believe in it. I just thought these are some informations that is interesting for your question.

I dont know if i believe in fate, but i know phenomenons where one dreams of an event or item and the exact thing happened to them in the future. I first handedly experienced that twice when i was a boy.
Back in the early 90's when Nintendo Gameboy first came out. i use to have recurring dreams of an art cover with a ninja on it with a name written underneath the ninja drawings. I have no idea what that dream meant until three years later when i went to a game store and saw a new release game on the shelfs and a chill went thru my spine. It was the exact same ninja drawings and the title of the game was the exact same name i saw in my dreams. The second dream was of a fighter jet plane model. The same picture and name matched in reality.

I don't have anymore of those dreams after i grew up. but it's still very puzzling.
No you cant test fate, fate tests you
I believe everything happens for a reason. I don't know if that is fate or not. Most times when I have chosen to "tempt fate", or so I thought that was what I was doing, I was not pleased with the result.
im not sure if u can test fate, but i believe we all have a responsibility to respond to fate. by acknowledging what appears to be coincidences in our life.. & acting upon them in the belief that we all have something to learn or teach. try out the Celestine Prophecies for good reading inspiration.
if it can't be measured or weighed.does it exist.
What is fate to you?
I believe in signs, but it's up to you to make the things you want come true. Think about it, if things turn out your way, you say it was fate, but if things go wrong and blow up in your face, you say it wasn't meant to be.
the answer to the trick question is yes i believe in fate, fate means what will happen, good or bad,as long as something happens, moves, etc,or until all things cease to exist, then there will always be fate.
