Does giving one star for an answer count as a positive insult?

I'm finding that stars are more meaningful than points. They're more personal and they give me the power to be quite rude.

Answers:
Justasking the question is an insult.
You really should learn some manners if you plan on staying with UKQnA.com.No one is going to like you if your rude, no matter how adorable you think you are.
"positive insult" is, by definition, an oxymoron.
Ahahahahaha! That's funny.
maybe you should re-enroll in grade school. they give out lots of stars.
1 stars better than none if you still get the best answer. You can give me one star if you want.
you get a star for asking this question.
No. Stars have no meaning. Answerer still gets 10 points. Being rude does not really help or give you power, either.
who cares.you get 10 points, stop complaining
I just gave your question a thumbs up. Does that help at all?
Damning with faint praise!
Yes, if you've picked it as best answer it should be at least a three star job.
Ya rude, man, chill, smoke da good stuff.
Positive insult is an oxymoron man, no matter how you spin it.
Yes, I think so. I got one star for a best answer yesterday, and five thumbs down for it too, and I was completely gutted.

Not really. But it does count as an insult.

I always give five stars.
If you're looking for ways to insult people, through the points/stars system, then I think you are not using UKQnA.com to it's full potential. The object is not to find a way to be rude, b ut to find answers. If you LIKE the answer, then more stars is warranted. However if the best answer of the group leaves you still wanting more information, perhaps not selecting a best answer at all is best for you. Let the voters pick a best, and then you can ask again, clarifying where you need more information.
I dont actually no.
thats the cutest friggen avatar ever.
anyhoo, i think it blows to only get one star as well.
it's like, Why pick me then?
Isn't "sad ignorance" also an oxymoron, since ignorance is bliss?
:-)
I don't think so.....
yes, you are correct in your question.
A positive insult is the same a a backhanded compliment. It would be like saying to someone older, " I like your haircut, it looks so good on younger people" or " I like that shirt, even if it is peach colored"

You are complimenting at the same time as you put the person down in the nicest way possible. It is still rude no matter how you cut it.
So is cutting someone down for a phrase, that is rude too. Not to mention childish... oh wait . I mentioned it. how silly
I tend only to give one star if I am bollocking the person I've given best answer to.
