Why do people create those emails claiming miracles will happen if you forward them to all your friends?
Do they have something wrong with them? And why do so many people fall for them and keep bloody sending them to me? Drives me mad it does.

Don't know why somebody would start that, but there is a threat - if you don't forward it to so many people, thist terrible thing will happen.
I got furious with that back when I was in fourth grade and those letters were just handwritten notes you had to copy three or five or fifteen times and drop them to different persons. NO WAY!
People are bored.
And they know other idiots will continue to forward them along.
To get some miracles without any COST.
Who knows? Superstition? And I am often surprised by who sends them. Some people I would never expect to fall for such stupidity and waste of time.

Well, I try telling myself that people are just that stupid. I'm starting to believe it.
the reason is to create a database of "Live" email addresses. If you do forward these email on, the addresses you send it to are relayed back to the originator, so for instance if you send it to 10 Friends he/she will have 10 new "live"addresses to spam! if your 10 friends pass it on then they have another 100 and so on... Do not forward them!! If one has a funny pic then save it and then send it on separately.
is also a way for companies to trace and gather addresses to send more junk mail to,
usually there is money involved somewhere

i told off family for sending, that it is disturbing

i dont knowabout it exactly ,but what all i know is this ,that in to days world their are many people who are superstitious but they never admit.their are many tragedies already in our life,and we afraid of getting involved in another one.so this the feeling of insurity make the people forward these messages.and who is the inventer of these messages ,i called them psycho,cause its a kinda fun for them.
