What sorts of image do these names suggest: Brenda, Joyce, Lorna, Aubrey, Amie?
Answers:
They are sisters, very close to each other, without parents, Brenda the big girl, taking the place of the mother, being a little bit tough with the other girls, keeping all a unity, Joyce, the happy girl, looking for the positive stuff in everything, making them laugh in their hard moments, Lorna, the middle one, the smart one, she likes to read a lot, she knows loads of stuff, she keeps the money and she is the one who's shopping for the house, Aubrey, the sweet little girl, blonde, with a strong character, Amie, the smallest, little angel with curly brown hair, 14 years old, blue eyes, lovely girl, with a lot of energy, knowing how to make herself likeable.

Have you checked on the kabalarians website?
It is a society that has come up with personalities to fit people's names, based on numerology, etc. It is surprisingly accurate-- I looked up the names of all my children, and the descriptions fit them very well.
So. if you're looking for something like that you might try it.
When you get to this page, scroll down to the bottom (read about how them first, if you'd like). fill in the name, make sure "female" is marked, and then click "Analyze."

Brenda is my best friend - she's Canadian, short and fierce and very pretty and likes wine. She loves her family and is hospitable and kind. She's great fun and we are taking our kids to Bournemouth for the day tomorrow. This is not some kind of concept of what "A Brenda" might be like. This one exists and is just like the above :0)
Joyce reminds me of Joyce Grenfell (VERY funny), Lorna was my friend in N Ireland, Aubrey was the old man who lived next door to my Mum and Amie is someone whose parents couldn't spell Amy.
All these names are Female, reguardless of what someone said on this board. I know someone with all these names and they are all women! Very nice, very sweet and very respectful.
females
For me Brenda, Joyce and Lorna are middle aged people names. Aubrey makes me think of a proper girl. Amie reminds me of a friend (Aimee) who is sweet and a good mother.
