If geeks are so clever, how come they can never learn social skills?

MAybe they have great social skills but don't want to talk to people less intelligent than themselves?
Geeks aren't clever. Nerds are.
Just because you are clever doesnt mean you have common sense.
Because there are things far more important than how to impress teen girls. These are the people who will be making top money, giving their wives finanical security, and making great long-term decisions. They'll be the ones driving the Ferrari and living in a mansion while the "cool" kids in high school grow up to work at Walmart for $7/hr.
If you're lucky one day they'll start a company so the not-so-clever can have a place to work.
if they do, who's gonna sit in a poorly lit office room making sure the internet works for the rest all day?

There are many areas of intelligence, some are less obvious than others, such as being good at sports, and social skills.
Most mechanics are never going to win master mind but they have fabulous practical intelligence instead!
Everyone is good at something, geeks are good at facts or have a mathematical brain but lack the intelligence to bond with people.
because social skills can't be taught, it's just a given that's why so have it and others want it

That's a pretty bad generalization. Lots of "geeks" have great social skills, they just often have better priorities then others. I know a few jocks, handsome, "cool" guys that don't have the manners or social skills you would expect when you hear all about them from others and see their flashing smiles.
i'm clever but i lack common sense. i aint a geek though and i have social skills. youre just stereotyping people. i'm also blonde with blue eyes and big boobs but i aint no slag !
