Explane how and why birth rate and death rate increase and decrease?

Answers:
well alot more babies get born each year and people are living longer now !!!!!!!! so you work it out
The planet can only sustain so much population and trends of countries change. In a famine year people seem to die more and then the populace of countries needs to increase to take care of the shortfall.

But in to days society. We should be multinational i.e Earth citizens and not country citizens. That way there is enough to keep the planets equilibrium.
No, I won't. Look it up on Wikipedia.
ppl live longer now than they did 50years ago this is cos of medical advances. more ppl living longer means more babies will b born plus the underage pregnancies etc. this also brings more sexual diseases such as aids, which without proper medication can cause many deaths, think africa.
i believe its mother natures way of controlling our species.
Quite an easy question really. A long time ago there was no contraception and poor hygiene/living conditions for most, so many babies were born, but died in infancy, thus encouraging people to have more babies. People in general also died young (in their 30's-40's). This results in high birth rate and high death rate. Over time, living conditions improved (better medical knowledge, sewage systems in place.) but there was still no contraception, so the birth rate was still high, but the death rate is lower as people lived longer, meaning the population increases. Then, with the introduction of contaception such as the condom, and then the pill in the 60's, birth rate decreases, as people's risk of pregnancy through regular intercourse is greatly reduced. Social changes, such as women wanting to establish a career for themselves before having children (contraception is key in this too!)contributes to the current situation in most of the west-low birth rate and low death rate. Living conditions are good and even children born very premature or severly disabled (who would probably have died many years ago) are surviving, but less people are having children.

If you've ever seen a population pyramid they put these figures into a visual aid. A population pyramid for the U.K today would probably have about as much children as it does pensioners! An African population pyramid would have many children at the bottom, but slowly get narrower as the age groups increase, as birth rate is high but so is death rate. This pyramid would resemble one from the U.K a few hundred years ago.

Hope this helps!
its controlled by nature to keep the balance just right
