A question for women?
Answers:
I wouldn't have any problem at all with this. It's not like women's rooms have urinals where you all go together like in men's rooms. You go into the stall and close the door and you have privacy. I wouldn't even have a problem with co-ed bathrooms as long as there were no urinals, except for the embarrassment issue when defecating. That and the fact that men seem to be much more amused with thier bodily functions than women.
yes i would have a problem but i would get used to it and i wouldn't have said anything. Its not like you don't have stalls.
I would object to! I mean, a guy could just pretend to want the operation just to have a whole year of being in the restroom with women.
Sounds like Monday's episode of Boston Legal.
Yeah, I would have a problem with it at first. I wouldn't be open about it, though, I'd be rather reserved. I think I'd get used to it, it isn't such a big deal.
it would affect me, hes still a he. whose to say he wasnt lying and just wanted a quick thrill? sickening!
I wouldn't care really
I would have no problem with a pre-op transsexual using the same toilets as me. If they were living their life as a woman, then they should use the ladies toilets.
I don't really see any issues of privacy, toilets are in cubicles and therefore are private.
Its a shame that people let there prejudices get in the way of doing the right thing.
i see no problem in her using the ladies toilet, if that is the way she chooses to live she should be respected in her decision. of course, you can understand the small-mindedness of some tho.
A "pre" operation transexual is not a woman.he's a man. You probablyhave the best answer just restrict him to the "one holers" where he won't upset anyone else.....
I dont really care who is in the toilet block I use. You have a door that locks and nobody can see you go so what is the problem. Some people are so prejudice they find other little excuses to have a go at someone.
Its not as if he/she is a pervert who wants to spy on woman peeing!
Tough one! I dont think to be honest it would bother me a I am quite open to the idea people do what they want in this life within reason!
I can see tho why some women would have problems with it! Maybe they dont quite understand it or maybe they feel a bit nervous havin a man in a confided space such as a female toilet!
Okay so maybe I am too open minded or whatever, but all woman's bathrooms have stalls..nothing to see when ya gotta go, so who cares? What are we hiding? The sink where we comb our hair and re-fresh our lipstick/gloss? Live and let live.
I would'nt have any problem at all, and think that anyone who would have issue, would only have issue through ignorance and a lack of understanding. There's nothing pervy etc about a T/S using the loo appropriate for their transforming gender.
i think i would have problem with that! although I probably wouldn't say anything. but hey thats life..
I don't see a problem really. I wouldn't have objected if others has said no though because at the end of the day ''she'' is really a man with men's genaltia and that is just the way it is...
i think i would have a problem if this guy or woman wasnt gay. If he is just a transexual who is not into men then i would object but if he is a gay transexual i would feel safe been in the same lavs as him
To pee or not to pee - is THAT the question? No, most emphatically NO, I would NOT have a problem with a man using the ladies' toilet, as long as he puts the seat down afterward.
Yeah I wud mind.ure a guy no matter wat.
I certainly wouldn't have a problem with it. Surely the whole point is he wanted to be a women and when he finally has the operation he will be a women and will therefore use the ladies toilets?
Its ridiculous that anyone should object, this person has the right to live however they choose, and if its that a man decides to have an operation to be a women and he has to go through the all the other processes that go with it then so be it.
The people that complained should be ashamed of themselves for making the person feel like such an outcast.
It wouldn't bother me. No one sees your privates in the ladies restroom. Geeze! We walk in, go behind closed doors and use the bathroom, flush, walk out of stall, wash hands, leave...what is the big deal?? And if he wants to be a girl that bad, he probably "thinks" like a girl.
I wouldn't be worried about it, if I knew the circumstances. I would hope this person concerned carries a letter around detailing the reason. Anyone mature enough would be able to understand. Discretion is the key.
Naturally I understand some of the other women's views, as they may feel its voyeuristic. A way for a man to get an easy way into the ladies toilets.
Only other way is disabled ones that are unisex. That is a last resort, you don't want to be ostracised.
Who cares it would not bother me a bit . "She" is a woman in her mind so she would treat you the same as any other woman. People have to many issues and pick the wrong things to make a big deal about.
I am a lady, I do ladies things, like pressing wild flowers and poetry and sh1t
I wouldn't care, why should I care? I don't care who pees in the stall next to me, I'd be concerned if somebody wanted to pee in the stall with me, but I'd be just as freaked regardless if it was male / female / pre-op / post-op / whatever.
I wouldn't object as it's not as though a ladies toilet is "open" like a gents. As long as the seat wasn't let up. ;-)
It wouldnt bother me. Girls bathrooms have a stall so its not like you are using the bathroom in front of him/her. I would have a problem doing that in front of anyone =). I am guessing people had a problem with the whole thing, not just the bathroom issue and that is why they said no.
As long as they didn't leave any urine on the toilet seat or floor, why would it make any difference. Women's toilet stalls have doors so it's not like as if are watching or comparing each other like in the men's.
No wouldn`t worry me at all. Womens toilets are more private then mens. I have wondered into the gents by mistake, before the smell has alarmed me , I don`t blame anyone for whatever reason preferring the ladies!
I don't think I would have a problem with it. It's not like it's just some creep who wants to sneak a peek at the women in there. If he is actually living his life as a woman then I think she should be allowed to include visiting the "Ladies Room" as a part of that. How can you live your life completely as a woman if you're still using the mens room? I can, however, understand how some people might be uncomfortable with it.
no i would not have minded ,you must work with some very small minded people, man or woman we all go to the toilet for the same thing,
I wouldn't mind, remember there are doors on the stalls. If a man is willing to walk around as a woman then he is pretty darn serious about it. I think the company's response by allowing certain restrooms was appropriate. If certain women weren't comfortable with it, they should not be subjected to it.
If thy eye offends thee pluck it out, but not because its the wrong colour.
