Why do people reply to my questions if they're stupid, but not if they're serious?
Any time I actually want a real answer, people don't reply?
Answers:
sorry but i think some people are just after the points rather than wanting to help!
I'm not sure why I guess they just want to get more points.
Sometimes it's the question that stumps the person or the people giving the stupid answers read the questions and misinterpret them. So you might want to write your question and then elaborate on it a bit more.. so that people KNOW what you are asking and answer it more seriously.
Serious people dont spend time on answering stupid questions
Let me break the mold. I'm serious and I'm replying
I agree, I think they are just wanting points instead of trying to help someone when they need it the most. Kinda sucks, don't it?
I agree with the other girl. About 85% of the answer-ers on here are idiots looking for points. If you look they have no "best answers" on thier profile. Just a bunch of losers with too much time on thier hands .
Stupid questions are more fun and you actually don't need to know anything to answer them.
I'm seriously stupid, thanks for the recognition.
Because its easier to answer a stupid question than a serious one.
Pure Timepass
Speaking from a personal point of view, i think its because stupid questions are easier to answer.
I guess it depends on the question. If I see something really funny or really stupid, I want to comment. But if someone sincerely wants to know something and I can help I also reply. And of course there are people who just want to have fun here.
I agree with Bibunny there! Some people only want the points, others think they're funny! I
same reason you do just to get the points... I've seen ya do it like today with the 5.4.3.2.1 question :)))))
I know exactly what you mean :-( I posted the same very serious question twice in 2 different categories and not had one response. Yahoo is full of morons unfortunately and they can't be bothered to help people. What may seem like a stupid question to one person may actually be very important to the person making the enquiry.
They look at this as a game and they don't care about your other questions.
I agree 100% ! There is a lot of very young kids on here that are out for the summer and they have nothing better to do I guess. They don't have enough knowledge and they try to be funny. Older people know better, but I will have to admit there are some crazy questions that deserve crazy answers. People should be more sensitive on here because you don't know how serious someones question really is.
I am no way discriminating young kids. If you have the knowledge and use it then I applaud you.
Yep, just for points. But could be that they genuinely think its an interesting question and want to read the answers, then regurgitate what they've read into an answer. But also because they may have thought of a 'funny' answer, for example, when I asked what was wrong with my dvd burning hardware, someone wrote, use a bunsen burner. C'est ca.
they do it probobly for a best answer bribe lol or are pathedic and looking for a friend to talk to because they have none.
:)You are so right and funny. I was wondering that too. Ive read some answers people have left and wondered "then why in the hell are you responding? " hhahaha.
There are those however that ask a question so stupid you can't help but say something dumb back to them lol.
I think some people find the stupid questions easier to answer. They can say whatever pops into there heads. It also depends on the time of day the question is submitted. A lot of people on here at night are very young. They seem to ask silly questions and give silly answers. Serious questions take a little more time and thought, at least for me they do. I try to do a little research before answering the serious ones..:)
Okay, let's talk about something serious .
I'm guessing from your profile you went to BPP school of law? I'm guessing from another answer I read of yours that you were interested in one of the 'Magic Circle' firms (I'm not stalking you by the way, I've just picked up on this!)
Let's have a debate: law school is a waste of money, you pay the £9k for the diploma, the course itself is pretty unnecessary, you learn more on the job .!
NOW is this a stupid question or a serious one - because I'm in two minds as to whether to answer it or not....
I've just looked through all your questions. Hum. You usually ask about personal qualities, about psychological aspects. It's quite serious field. I've made a conclusion you think much about the way you look, speak, about other peoples' behavior.Unwarranted self-examination is very destructive.
Some people write nonsense because of boredom.
its simple if you ask a real question you shall receive a real answer..?.
the responsiblity of answering a "serious" question is huge -- what if you are wrong? what if you give bad advice?
silly, stupid questions are easy and often a lot of fun.
serious questions are a lot of pressure and often deal with the harder side of life that most are trying to forget by playing on the internet.
I am sorry you haven't gotten helpful answers. Only stupid people give stupid answers. If your question is sincere, some people will give you an honest answer, but don't ask crazy questions because then no one will take you seriously.Good luck.
Some people have nothing but time on their hands and have nothing better to do. Some just do this to be funny and not try to get the best answers. For others it is simply who they are and there is not much that can be done about that. I mean trying to get answers on here has to be a crap shoot as you do not know when and who will be logging on and if your question gets the right position on the question page to be recognized.
There are really a lot of factors that can lead to your question not getting the attention and time that it deserves. I just want to wish you the best of luck with your future questions.
Yeah, I feel you on this one..It could be to get easy points or they just don't understand the serious question. They maybe impatient or can't put words together to write what they mean. The position and timing of the question posted can also have an affect on how many answers you will recieve..I don't know but it's annoying, that's why I usually post my serious questions to a couple of sections to get more options.
This must have been another stupid question judging by the amount of responses?
