What is borderline schizophrenia?
Answers:
There isn't an actual disorder in the DSM (Psychologist's diagnostic manual) called borderline schizophrenia. If your doctor diagnosed you with borderline schizophrenia, than I guess you have symptoms of schizophrenia, but do not meet the full criteria to warrant the diagnosis.
So, you may have what is called Psychotic Disorder NOS (Not Otherwise Specified), in which you have psychotic symptoms, but not to the magnitude of full schizophrenia or symptoms that don't match any other psychotic disorder..
borderline schizophrenia - schizophrenia characterized by mild symptoms or by some preexisting tendency to schizophrenia
