Has there ever been or likely to be a winner in the human race, and over what distance is the race run?

Answers:
The race was run over a course of seven million years, and involved trying to encircle the globe with a dominating presence. Homo Erectus gave a good showing, and Homo Neaderthalis was a close second. But the Winner Was..Homo Sapiens Sapiens!!
And the winner is.. Jesus
It's run over about eighty years and nobody has won it yet.
I dropped out of that race years ago. I'm embaressed to be called "human" in light of world events.
yaun yaun. very old joke
Didn't Adam come first in the human race? ;p (with Eve leading the women's event?).
Enlightened people a winners (Jesus, Buddha, Lao Tzu and many, many others as well enlightened). The top of the human achievement is to become complete, to unite the Essence (inborn qualities) with Adopted Knowledge of human race (survival kit). To live united and in harmony with the World. To develop the best economy of personal energy.
as long as you are alive, you win. it's easy to spot the losers, look under extinct species
It was won in the 1930s by Jesse Owens. He beat all the aryen race's best runners (and from what i read in Mien Kampf they are the best).
