What should you do if you are trying hard for something and continously failing to do that.?

It really depends upon the importance of completing the task.
a. give up
b. find a different approach
c. ask for help
d. keep trying

I have been trying to walk across the room on my hands for years and have not managed it yet. I may give up trying soon as I am now 51.

Get a grant to look into the causes of failure, write a paper on your findings and make a million

you could also try changing you tactic.
it depends what your aiming for eg.your driving test keep going.
i failed mine 3 times but past on the forth.if its something to do with a relationship if you've tryd n feel u cant try any more give up n let it come to you,if its something to do with the working side of things like tryn to find a job don't give up have faith in yourself and everything will turn out fine.
Rethink what it is you're trying to do, and the reasons that motivate you.

It might be a subtle clue that your time and energies would be better directed in pursuit of other talents and abilities.

Lower your sights and try something easier, working up to the more difficult thing. Alternatively go postal and take out your fustrations on your work colleagues/friends/family.

i would have to know what that is..but i feel your pain..
I think it depends on what is it and how much you want it and also how realistic your acheiving it is. Many people waste a lot of time and emotions trying to achieve things that are unattainable and end up feeling frustrated and depressed when they do not. On the other hand many people may want something so bad and try so hard to get it and even when they continuosly fail, they do not give up. When they finally acheive it the reward is soo much better. I think you need to develop the frame of mind of 'accepting the things you cannot change, try change the things you can, and most importantly knowing the difference between those two things so that u do not waste your energy trying for something that is just NEVER going to happen.

Lower your expectations.
I suggest trying a different approach, failing that stop trying, I usually find that that as soon as you stop concentrating so hard on something opportunities will arise from an unexpected source!
Set your sights lower to avoid depression setting in!
re-evaluate the situation. If it is important keep trying, you'll get there eventually, but ask yourself is it worth it?Weigh everything up, and you will know what to do!

if it s a professional object, i guess u should keep on tryin and maybe ask for help arround.
if at first you dont succeed, try and try again... Dont give up, if you put your heart, mind and soul into it, you can achieve anything you want, but if you dont put everything into it and not give 100% then you might fail again and might aswell give up now.. just do everything in your power possible. your get there in the end..

it depends on the circumstances, you need to sit down and have a good think about your own motivations for trying at this goal. Could you be getting a little obsessive about this? Is this truely an achievable goal?

It could be that you pick a hard task on purpose to confirm a belief that you are a failure, this way at least you are right and thus do not need to to try and get your hopes up, a way of dealing with rejection.

You need to win some as well, I would suggest you pick an easier goal which will give you a challeng but at which you know you can succeed at.
stop trying to do it the same way so that i dont get the same results, look at my expectations because expectations are usually met
