Anyone out there had a near death experience?what do you remember?

Answers:
My mother did. When she was a very young child she had scarlet fever. She remembers that 'she' floated away from her body and was looking down at her little self in the bed and the doctor was telling her mother that she wouldnt last the night, and her mother was crying. Then she came back to her body and her grandmother was dripping tiny drops of brandy from a spoon into her throat. And she recovered and is now nearly 91! She says she remembers this clearly.
i hit a car on my motorbike when i was doing 30mph in wet weather, I hit the side and i remember a massive BUMP (like what you hear on the typical bike hits car government adverts) and musta came to about 10 seconds later on the ground with my bike next to me still running strong (good ol yamaha).

I got up with a huge slash on the back of my leg and a swollen muscle, my bike literally did not have a scratch on it and the car had a huge dent in the side
Blacked out during an accident. It was rear ended, side swiped a tractor trailer, and then the wall.
Yep.

I've had a few.. I'd rather not speak of the physical circumstances that led to them.. but they're certainly interesting, and have helped lead me to my self-realisation as a Nihilist..

And how they did that is quite simple:
Those points where I wasn't quite in the world of the living were basically like huge holes in my existence. It was as though someone had smashed right through my lifeline and left an empty gash in it... Absolutely nothing there. No perception. No matter, No energy, No time.. I have experienced non-existence...

.. And it was, in retrospect. strangely comfortable.
I mean it didn't technically feel like anything. It was nothingness... But likewise I had become aware that for that time where there was a hole in my very existence, there wasn't even that nagging background feeling of constant suffering that I'm only vaguely aware of these days (and most of the time don't notice).

I think I will be glad when I die.. or at least just before I die, knowing what comes.
I've no idea why people are so afraid of ceasing to exist..
I used to try this OBE (out of body experience). I had a book with instructions which I read from cover to cover, I was so interested in actually getting out of my body. However, I used to fall asleep at the third or forth level of consciousness! Always had a good night's sleep though.
