“Can you separate health and happiness?

Answers:
Of course you can.
You could be very healthy and unhappy or ill and happy.
yes, actually
yes look and see health

happiness
Absolutely, they are two completely different things.
You can be healthy and unhappy and you can be unhealthy and happy..it is more a question of your attitude to life, your expectations, etc.
Of course, it doesn't help most people's happiness to lose their health. But visit some hospitals and you will find some happy patients..the brave ones who value life.
I believe that you can. I've had some pretty bad things happen to me physically and am always grateful for what didn't happen. That's the only way I get through things.
not in my case i have a stonking cold for 2 weeks now and am extremely unhappy
yep - i have know really ill people who were happy on their childs birthday. they were in agony all day and yet they were still happy.
wish i could have more of that attitude.
Yes, definately. Happiness can be found without health and not all healthy people are happy.
Well i see where you are coming from, To me as long as my family are healthy it is the most important thing! as someone who has had depression, you need your health to be happy! if you get what i mean!
Interesting question. Initially I thought no, then yes, then well ... it depends. True - not all healthy people are happy. I'm not healthy but am happy but would love to be healthy & happy. I think to some extent, they do impinge on each other but are not intrinsically linked. I think ...
Most assuredly. My partner was diagnosed with cancer some four months ago. Since chemo has stripped her of most of her health, she is the happiest I have seen her when she spends her days with our 2 year old daughter as now she knows what life is really about.
yes you have your health and then your happiness.
I think the two are interdependent. Its just that you can experience different levels of each one at different points in time. I mean you may argue that you can be unhealthy and happy but your level of happiness would likely increase if you were in better health. Just like if you are unhappy, then your level of mental health, your psychological well being, would improve if you became happier with your circumstances.
I don't have to separate them cause they are already COMPLETELY SEPARATE! I'm more than healthy but I'm certainly not happy. They can affect eachother but they are not dependent on eachother!!
I am sure u can separate the two; bad health and no happiness!

" Good Health and Happiness" cannot be separated, as they do go hand in hand!!
Of course you can.
Have you never seen an old disabled person laugh at themselves? The reason they can do this is because they have realised with age that there is nothing left to do but accept your lot and make the best of it.
Happiness means contentment and you don't have to be fit and well to be content. Do you?
Your health can be assisted by a good attitude to everything and being content can help to be positive.
Good health doesn't necessarily bring happiness although happiness can bring health.
