Does anyone find it weird that someday the WTC disaster will "just be a chapter in the history books"?
I just watched World Trade Centre last night, and one line that stuck out what when someone mentioned that all this will just be in a history book. And I thought, yeah, when our young children or grandchildren are in school, the WTC disaster will just be Chapter 5 in the American History text. It'll probably be viewed in the same kind of way as the world views the Pearl Harbour bombing now. A tragedy, but ancient history, and "something that doesn't concern me now." (C'mon, we've all said it about history class at one point in our life.)

Now, I'm not an American, but I did see the event on TV, and was pretty shocked by the whole thing. But do you ever think that it'll be so weird that someday, the events that are going on right now in Iraq and stuff, will just be "some dumb event in American history that I have to memorize for some stupid exam"?
