if i find money on the ground its mine, but if i find a wallet and there is money in it. it belongs to the owner of the wallet...sounds crazy.but karma is real to me.
I am 54 and I did find a wallet at the grocery store and it was laying in the parking lot. Picked it up and there probably was close to 500.00 dollars in it. Took it into the grocery store and they put it in the safe and called the person who it belonged to and she came and got it. Never got a thankyou or reward but I couldn't have lived with myself if I had kept it.

i would take it to the nearest police station i have done that before and one of the reasons is that if i lost my purse i would want someone to do the same for me!

I would personally give it back. If you lost a wallet with a lot of money I'm sure that you would want someone to do the right thing and give it back to you. Call the person and tell them. In the end you'll probably feel good about what you did. 19 years of age.

take the money, and put something to tie the wallet up(rubberband.) and put it in the mailbox.. 24/m/NYC ( because in USA if you see any USA government issue stuff you put it in the mailbox when some one lost it.)

Why are you asking this question when the answer is obvious? Hand it in to the police yourself, or telephone the individual to let them know the wallet has been found intact. What is your dilemma here? My age is irrelevant. Just do the right thing.
