Why do women go into marriage with the attitude that if it goes wrong they can get a divorce and make some ££?

Marriage is pretty damn risky. It used to be you were strapped to the spouse regardless of what happened. That's pretty scary when you know that sometime people do fall out of love, they do cheat and they can take all your dreams of starting a family and growing old with someone and crush them hopelessly under their heel. And there's nothing you can do about it.
BUT NOW THERE IS!! If you act now you can get a divorce and stick the knife he jammed in your heart right were it's gonna hurt him most THE WALLET!

Not all women get a divorce just to earn a few drachma; but it is reasonable to assume that all women getting a divorce are doing so because the relationship isn't working for either them or their partners. Would you want to stay in a bad marriage?
Not all women do! Some are left penniless, most with kids to support on their own. I think you'll find there are just as many men who have that attitude as women!

If I ever get married I will not have that attitude.
Things are changing too as a lot of women earn more than men and don't need men to support them.
Maybe you need to rephrase your question as to 'Why do some women...' because I am sure it does happen but do not tar all women with the same brush!

You cant make money from a divorce. Its 50/50 this day and age. Well not if you are married to Paul McCartney.
I think if woman have looked after kids for years and given up their career they get a bit more. I dont think people actually get married with a view to being divorced and making money, but sh*t happens and finances have to be sorted. I lost the house when my hubby cheated, so we are not all winners.
Why do you think this? I went in to my marriage with the attitude that i could get a divorce if it all went wrong but at no point did the thought of money ever enter my mind. I think that you have been twisted somehow. Women are not monsters.
OK, not all women have this kind of attitude, in actual fact most women go into marriage with the idea that the marriage will last forever and be wonderful. What about the men who go into marriage with the attitude that once they put a ring on her finger, they then have a ready made nurse, cook, ironer, seamstress, bath cleaner, toilet cleaner, washer -upper, window cleaner, duster, bed maker, to name but a few and expect sex on tap??

usually women do that because they like revenge and they usually choose a man by his financial stability. It's a natural thing, just look at history, it's all there.
I strongly resent your comments. You are implying that all women have little or no morals, and are out to live as hedonistic lives as possible. When my parents got divorced, my mum went into severe depression, and considered abandoning me or taking her own life more than once. It was one of the worst times of both mine and my mums life, and to imply that she went through all that she did to get a bit of extra cash is extremely hurtful. i suggest you (and other ignorant people on this site) consider how thoughtless comments can upset and offend people.
I didn't, I have been married for 6 years. Me and my hubby have been together for 13 years.
If things did go wrong I would never want his money, yeah I would want him to help pay for the kids.

Because humanity lost some moral values during the time and so we now live in a society where money rule. We forgot words like love, family, forever! It`s quite sad actually
most women will marry a rich man so when they divorce she gets half the wealth and becomes very rich herself,it's pre-planned!!
