Acute means suddden onset. The term 'hearing loss' implies major.
why didn't you just ask what acute meant...it means critical or serious.
Major.

Like if you had diarhorea, or dysentry.

Dysentry would be acute, a major difference to just suffering the runs.
Major, unfortunately.
MAJOR
Major .... I said MAJOR cloth ears.
Major, if anything, but your alternatives are too clumsy, need refinement, conditions.
I can't hear you
it means 'all of a sudden'' like a gun shot sound close to the ear could cause accute hearing loss,..
Major definitely, if it was just a slight hearing loss, doctor would have added that in the story. Acute hearing loss. the word says it actually, loosing the ability to hear. acute slight hearing loss, that would be more like an explanation of a side effect or something, but no doctor would say hearing loss, if he meant something a lot less stressful!
Can you hear me ok (major)..
Major...but if he told you that you had acute *ss, well that's another story!
as everyone else said, I would say major.
"Acute" means "major", I'm sorry to say.
Everyone said it and you are not gonna want to hear it from me but..major
