Desire has no end, that is why the rich can never have enough money and we can never get enough of anything.
Or does desire have an end ?

If one has absolute goals in life, they can be achieved, and they'll be happy.

Desire is to do with desiring someone, and is not just a manifestation of physical lust, but also strongly linked to emotional wellbeing, feelng emotionally safe and stimulated, feeling appreciated and feeling valued. If all these things can be maintained, desire can last, but if they cannot, desire will eventually fade.
Desire lasts until we die. It has to be this way, otherwise we just give up when we got what we wanted. It's the drive that keeps us going. Unfortuately it makes rich people seem greedy, but that would be true of any of us in the same position.

All reasonable people have limits on their desires.much of these limits are biological.the problem is when the desire does damage BEFORE the limit is reached.example..sugar causes cavities before your desire for sugar is sated.
