What is your Avatar trying to say?
I discovered this site a few days ago and had great fun creating my Avatar. I tried to use the options available that were as close to my actual features (long red hair etc) and I came out looking a bit like me but more like how I'd like to look in real life. Am really interested to know the thought process that went into yours.

Me, my avatar and Rita Hayworth? Mmmm. Rita is a bit of a sexy doll ( I am not) but I used to have long red hair when I was a lot younger. I always wear black to work but I sure as hell do not look like Rita in Gilda but I sometimes fake the movements. I saw her car when I was in Las Vegas and there were only two of them ever made: she was a good shopper, eccentric. Married Orson Welles, one of the greatest artists ever. Sadly, Rita went mad with senile dementia by the time she was 50. She lived a life, sadly lost her potential, and I like her a lot.
I need to lay off the hair spray.
I wanted an avatar that had features as close to mine as possible. It's hard though because they do not offer enough facial variations to really get it right. I also picked an avatar that had clothes similar to mine. I really wish we could show the whole avatar in UKQnA.com.
My avatar is trying to say.
'Come on me, this site is really quite naff and its 10 past 12. so go to bed.'
Lucky he cant say anything really. :)
I picked the hair color and style, face shape, eye color and skin tone that most closely matched mine. She looks *sort* of like me, if I were a cartoon and about 20 lbs lighter. I always like to have a smile on mine.. its friendly and less threatening :-)
Whatever worked, I didn;t want that dopey smiley face box
My avatar is saying ppl who aske dumb question about avatars have nothing else to do but aske dumb questions
I went with my actual hair colour, eye colour, hairstyle and then the whole thing went fantasy. I am not nice an thin like my avatar, but I would love to be. I do not dress that way, because I am not thin, but would LOVE to do so. I do not have a black cat. I love to BBQ, so I put that into my background - I am going to change the cat to a chihuahua, because I am getting one soon, but a black one not a tan one as they have in the choices.
With profound sadness my avatar is trying to say "Get me the .. out of here!", fortunately I'm still calling the shots! Avatars, always something!
My avatar is tryin to say.
It's not ginger! It's red!
My cartoon avatar looked like me when I was 12. I use this pic now. I used to do that job (foreground) before I had to move on. I'm stuck in a deskjob now, but I miss the good old days of travelling and lineying.
I just changed mine this morning while I was waiting for YahooAnswers to come back up again. I wanted mine to look like me and what I might wear. I still went with the smaller woman since the fullfigure does not have as many clothing options. I am actually average size and not fat but I felt like the girl is to skinny for me. Oh well. Mine is saying that I am a quite, conservative type of a person. It can be seen in the body language of the avatar and the clothing. I would be curious to hear other opinions if they see something different.
