Should I give up some of my individuality in order to fit in with those around me?
Should I become more of what in my eyes is shallow and uncaring to fit in with people and have a more active socail life?. Is having more fun worth losing my beleifs and opinions? and just because family and freinds don't care about these things should i not as well?
I may have made my mind up on this already but i wondered wat other thought, happy answering!

In my opinion, being true to my beliefs is important, but it's not everything. What good is it if you're all alone all the time? I wouldn't change drastically, but try to be a little flexible and get to know other people. Mingle and make a little small talk--you might meet someone with similar beliefs as you, and wouldn't that be wonderful!!
hell no, let me saiy it again hell no!!
One answer.. NO!
absolutely not. feck em all if they dont like you the way you are
STICK TO WHAT YOU BELEIVE IN
No f*ck em all, be yourself.
Never!!
Go with what will make you happier in the long run. You could have a real fun day then go to bed and not be able to sleep coz you know you sold out.
HECK NO!!!
- there is no reason to become so low-life jerk just be yourself and the people how like you will be your friends for you nto how you act.☺
nope. When friends, beauty, and fashion are gone you are left with one thing..you! Be true to yourself. Don't be like others. The coolest thing about people is how they are unique!
no you are who you who dont change for any one be proud of who you are
Know thy self and be true to thine own self, (I am not religious but this perfectly sums up the human condition)
NO - NEVER GIVE UP YOUR INDIVIDUALITY!
if you can-be yourself while being friends with these people if you can't do that-or they don't pay you no attention BECAUSE YOU ARE DIFFERENT. all that means is you need to move on and be yourself
never ever eeeeeeeeeeeever give into what others think is right-when you know being yourself is the best and most right thing to do.
unless you are an axe murderer dont change a thing. i love being me.
"to thyne own self be true"
NO! If you can't be true to yourself then what is the point?
I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I am not.
Never, being yurself is what makes society !
it's better that people hate you for what you are, than to love you for something that you are not.
I struggled many years with a hearing disability I didn't even
know I had. I hated everybody because of the ill treatment I
received, like I was a snob.
Then one day I read this Chinese wisdom book. It said, "Just be
freindly, and save YOURSELF a lot of aggravation."
Losing your belief is a high price to pay. Just stay how you are and keep your own beliefs and opinions. You'll be much better and happier person inside. And that's what's important.
You call your freinds shallow and uncaring yet you are considering whether to be like them? I think not young man.
You are a person in your own right. You should be able to show this to everyone and if they don't like it, it is their problem.
Find a different circle of people who you feel more comfortable with and who see you for who you are and not what they want you to be!
My gut answer is good heavens, no. Be yourself and find friends that you can interact with that accept you the way you are.
Then I step back and ask you.what is it you want most? Are you desperate enough for friends that you are willing to compromise yourself?
And are you sure that your beliefs and opinions are well thought out and not just an adaptation of others whom you admire?
Then I return to my first response.no, be yourself.
NO you have to be yourself other wise your a fake ! and who care's if you don't fit in it's there problem not your's !!
Absolutely not! Be yourself. I can guarantee you won't be happy with yourself pretending to be someone you are not just to fit in.

Absolutly not! YOUR own values are more important than anything else in the world. If people that you associate with cannot accept this, then they are really not worth your attention and it is time for you to find people with your own interest.
You don't have to lose anything to gain more.
Fun is where you find it - find friends who enjoy what you find fun.
You will find the right kind of friends to make up for your family.

No, never, not ever, death before conformity!
but you gotta be smart about it. Very smart, smarter than the manipulators and the King of Homecoming. If you're not, you'll get trampled by the next stampede.

Absolutely not!! Being an individual is what makes you special. When a girl is given a box of chocolates, she wants a mix of different ones, not a boring bunch of Maltezers!! Be who you are. It's the way you are made and who you need to be most comfortable with.
